Mobile money, bank and card
Every way money moves, side by side
Owwel records cash and every payment channel you use, such as M-Pesa and other mobile money, bank accounts and card, as separate accounts. Each sale and expense names its channel, balances are shown side by side, and a transfer between accounts is recorded on both sides with any fee counted as a cost.
How it works
Channels you name
Add each mobile money till, paybill, bank account or card terminal as its own channel.
Split payments
A customer pays part cash and part mobile money, and each part lands in the right account.
Transfers with their fees
Moving money between accounts is recorded on both sides, and the transfer fee becomes a real expense.
Questions about mobile money, bank and card
Does Owwel work with M-Pesa?
Yes. Add your M-Pesa till or paybill as a payment channel, record sales and expenses against it, and reconcile it each day alongside cash.
Can I use my local mobile money?
Yes. Channels are named by you, so any mobile money, bank or card service in your country can be recorded.
