Cookie Policy

Owwel does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics that follow you between sites. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the cookies that make signing in work.

Cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for do not require consent. Every cookie Owwel sets falls in that category.

• Session cookies. Keep you signed in as you move between pages. Without them you would have to sign in on every screen. They are marked secure and http-only, so scripts on the page cannot read them, and they are cleared when you sign out.
• Device recognition. Remembers that you already confirmed this device with an emailed code, so you are not asked for a new code every time you sign in from your own phone or laptop.
• Preference storage. Small values kept in your browser rather than sent to us, such as which branch you were last looking at, so the app opens where you left it.

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No cross-site tracking.
• No social media pixels.
• No selling or sharing of browsing behaviour, because none is collected.

Your browser can block or delete cookies from its settings. Because Owwel's cookies are the ones that keep you signed in, blocking them means you will not be able to stay signed in, and clearing them will sign you out and ask you to confirm your device again next time.

That is the only trade-off. Nothing else in Owwel depends on a cookie.

The suppliers that run hosting, email, SMS, error monitoring and payment are listed in the Privacy Policy. None of them place advertising cookies through Owwel. A payment provider may set its own cookies on its own checkout page, which is governed by that provider's policy.
