Move to Owwel
Bring your products across in one spreadsheet
Moving from QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo, Sage, Excel or another POS takes one spreadsheet: export your products, upload them to Owwel, review every product and apply. Prices, categories, quantities and expiry dates come across, and nothing is created twice.
- 1
Export your products
From your current system, export the product or item list to a spreadsheet. Every accounting package and POS can do this; in Excel, save it as a CSV file.
- 2
Match the column names
Owwel reads columns by their names, in any order. Only a SKU column is required. The table below lists the names it understands.
- 3
Upload and review
In Stock, choose Spreadsheet, then Upload a file. Owwel shows how many products are new, which existing ones change and how, and any row it cannot use, before anything is saved.
- 4
Apply, and check the count
Apply the upload. New products arrive with their opening stock, existing ones change only where the file differs. Run a stock check with your team to confirm the shelf matches.

Can I move from QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo or Sage?
Yes. Export the item or product list to a spreadsheet, rename the columns to the names Owwel reads if needed, and upload it. You review every product before it is saved.
Will uploading the same file twice create duplicates?
No. Rows are matched to products you already have by SKU or Product ID, so a second upload only changes what differs.
Can I keep my accountant on their software?
Yes. Owwel runs the daily operation, and its reports and statements export as PDF for your accountant.
